Dr ( Major) Indranil Dev ( Retd. ) is working as a Senior Consultant ( Interventional cardiology ) at The Healthworld Hospitals, Durgapur. He has previously worked at IQ City Narayana Hospital as well as The Mission Hospital, Durgapur.

He headed back to Durgapur from the renowned Batra Hospital and Medical Research Centre at New Delhi after completion of his training in Interventional Cardiology. After completion of his MBBS, he worked as a Medical officer in the Indian Army serving troops at the frontlines and their families.

After release from his commission, Dr. Dev joined The Army Hospital ( Research and Referral ) at New Delhi , the premier tertiary care hospital of the Armed forces and completed his MD ( General Medicine) from Delhi University.

He sees outdoor patients at Room 127 from 11 AM in the morning till 5 PM , Mondays to Saturdays.

He has enormous experience in cardiac interventions amongst patients of all ages. He is a strong believer in minimally invasive cardiac procedures via the radial artery.

He is proficient at Radial Coronary angiogram, Coronary angioplasty included complicated procedures such as Rotablation PCI. He does temporary and permanent pacemaker implantations of all types ( Single, Dual and CRT-P/ CRT-D/ ICD) . In younger patients cardiac catheterisation followed by ASD, VSD and PDA ( hole in the heart ) closure is done.

With his keen acumen, insight and vast experience Dr Dev has an ardent belief in cost effective and ethical healthcare which benefits both the patient and the community. He draws his inspiration from his august mentors and hopes to carry on their legacy in the truest spirit.

His hobbies include reading, driving long distances , listening to music and photography.
